U.S. Bank said it acquired Talech, a Palo Alto, California-based firm that helps SMBs simplify operations through an integrated point-of-sale system.
Talech, founded in 2012, helps companies manage multiple operations, such as payment processing, order management, inventory, staff reporting, business insights and other areas.
“Small businesses are a focal point for us as we transform how U.S. Bank engages with customers and how our customers interact with their money, making it easy for them to make decisions at the moment they come in contact with our technology,” Derek White, chief digital officer at U.S. Bank., said in a company release.
Talech will join U.S. Bank’s newly formed digital team, led by White.
The firm serves more than 8,000 restaurants, retailers and professional services firms, representing $2.3 billion in processing volume.
